This is my son Ryan and I by the humidifier I installed last year.

I went with the 16.0 SEER SSZ160601 condensing unit with MBE2000AA-1 air handler. I would suggest anybody looking at new systems consider 16 SEER as the minimum acceptable efficiency. We appreciate the 2-stage condenser and variable speed air-handler. The second day of operation is seeing outdoor ambient at 92°F and about 60% RH. The system has operated at low speed all day, and I can hardly hear it run. All items were delivered on time and without damage, and the system started flawlessly other than a slight adjustment of the expansion valve to get correct super-heat. I also felt the staff at Alpine was very helpful during the order process.

I replaced an old, inefficient and broken central air unit with a new split system from Alpine Home Air. I ordered the outside condenser, inside coil and line set from Alpine. The system has been running perfectly for over six weeks and my house is cool, the condenser runs quietly, and I had no problems with any of the parts or installation. Ordering from Alpine was much cheaper than any quotes I received locally. For the few questions I did have, their technical support was genuinely helpful. When my rental needs a new system, it will come from Alpine, and I recommend them to others.

I ordered my system from you on Jan 9, 2005. It arrived at my door on the 13th. Attached is a picture of my installation of an Aprilaire 600. The installation was extremely easy. I really enjoyed the installation video that came with the unit. I have my system wired to both the HUM terminal on the furnace controller, and I added the ability to run from the fan circuit (using the isolation transformer). There is a black box (shown in picture) that allows me to switch between the two methods. Thanks again.

After three quotes from local Heat/Air outfits, I quickly found that the price was WAY more than what I had to spend. SO...what to do: go on the internet and search what was available. With the help of the installation instructions that came with the unit, I had it installed in a very short time. Now I can complete jobs on time without sweating (pun intended) the temperature in the shop. P.S. My father and I installed the Honeywell HE225B humidifier within 3 hours. The video, fast shipping, internet ordering, letter from the president of the company and price all add up to a quality product and experience. The electrical schematics were a bit challenging but with some thought and arrows, we got it all working on the first attempt.
